Description
To be fully honest, I'm not crazy about the artist, but I couldn't pass on a complete story featuring a character I love at a price I could easily afford at the time.

The one flaw of the whole package is the lack of word/thought balloons, yet another evidence -from an OA collector's POV- that digital is the orange-tinted public figure of comics, something we would be all much better without.

I agree with the lament of missing lettering. On the other hand, when the art and storytelling are this good, I grin and bear it.

Cliff uses the blacks well, all over this page, including the borders. The shot of Grendel descending one-armed, lithe, silent and in complete control. The master manipulator mindfully minding his business.
