Description

This splash page illustration is from "Here Gather the Stars" by Clifford D. Simak and was published by Galaxy in August 1963. In 1964, the two parts of "Here Gather the Stars" were collected and published in book form as "Way Station" which promptly won the Hugo Award for Best Novel. I am very fortunate to have a second illustration by Wally Wood from one of my favorite SF novels!
