Description

Wally Wood - "One Night Down on the Funny Farm!" - Warren's 1984 Magazine #2 - August 1978. A late effort by Wally Wood just three years before he tragically took his own life. This is just an average story, but on this page (which is by far the best page in the story) he really delivered the goods! It has topless babes, naked babes, a winged demon abducting a naked babe, a huge castle, and did I mention naked babes!?! He really channeled the Wally Wood of five or ten years earlier with this effort and I couldn't be happier with this addition to my Wood collection!

Love it. Large castle, abduction of a maiden, and lovely artwork. A great Wood page.

Original pages from this story that I've seen in different places puzzle me, because some, like yours, have Bill DuBay's scripted defacement in captions and dialogue as these appeared in 1984 magazine - I assume these are pasteovers? - while others have the original dialogue and captions that Wood himself scripted when this story was titled "The End," and done circa 1969 for Warren's aborted Wally Wood "adult" title.
