DescriptionPublished in 1977, this cover was used in Chapter 10 of "How to Draw The Marvel Way" (HTDTMW) to illustrate how to design a cover. John Buscema was working on the How To book at the time of his Nova assignment so either he or Stan thought using Nova cover in the HTDTMW book. Included in the gallery are the rejected roughs and the process to create this cover. Can anyone confirm John Romita Sr worked on this cover (as comics.org credits him as (alterations))?Don't bother asking if I would sell or trade this cover, the book I WILL keep complete. Nothing will be sold from it including this Nova #12 cover. Since John documented the whole cover creation process, I feel it was planned from the beginning to be published in this book. One of my several great covers of the 70's O love! I was a Spidey junkie & a Nova fanatic back then. As for John Romita SR possibly doing the break downs or faces. I'll ask him & let you know what he said's. Congrads!
