Thor was another character who John Buscema excelled at drawing, both in the Thunder God's own title and in the pages of Avengers. I definitely believe the mythological and fantasy aspects appealed to Big John's sensibilities.

So good!! In addition to it's raw power, I love the many superb design elements in this classic image --- the expressive right hand, the boots, the lightening jags, the folds in the cape...it's such a great drawing

Incredible pieces, Brian. I grew up learning to draw with this book. I wouldn't have a career in art if it wasn't for it. It's really awesome to see the originals here.
