Description

Just back from the Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention, the best convention of the year for illustration art, pulps, comics and seeing friends! Back in 2005 I sold this painting at a Heritage auction and was able to conclude a deal at the convention that brought it back into my collection! This very large Chris Foss painting served as the cover for "Sun's End" by Richard Lupoff and was published by Panther Science Fiction in 1987.

'brought it back into my collection! ' Collectors never learn, do they? Last time I did that, it cost me three times what I got for it.

Love hurts and reunions are sweet may be the lession from Sun's End. Fabulous explosive effects cover with a shine that you can't find anywhere else except in this painted sheen.
