Description

I'm not a big fan of Mark Millar, but i must admit that Millar was adapted perfectly to the tone of the series after the departure of Warren Ellis, and even he exceeded it. With so bizarre moments like the encounter between Apollo and The Commander ( the Captain America analogue ), which reminds me suspiciously like a lurid scene from Pulp Fiction. And about Frank Quitely, what can i say?, for me he is definitely one of the best storytellers of the moment, without a doubt.

Millar answering a question about this rough scene:

"I�m delighted and fascinated by the response. And you know what? I�m not telling. I want you to draw your own conclusions on this one. I�m leaving this open. I wrote the scene (and subsequent follow-ups) to be ambiguous and, like all the best drama and horror, I want the reader to use his or her imagination and make up their own mind."

No soy un gran fan de Mark Millar, pero debo reconocer que tras la marcha de Warren Ellis de la serie, Millar se adapt� perfectamente al tono de la serie, e incluso lo super�. Con momentos tan bizarros como el encuentro entre Apolo y El Comandante, que me recuerda sospechosamente a una escena escabrosa de Pulp Fiction. Y acerca de Frank Quitely, para mi es uno de los mejores narradores del momento, sin ninguna duda.

Millar contestando a una pregunta sobre esta escabrosa escena:

"Estoy encantado y fascinado por la respuesta. �Y sabes qu�? no lo estoy diciendo. Quiero que el lector saque sus propias conclusiones sobre este caso. Lo estoy dejando abierto. Escrib� la escena para que fuese ambigua y, como toda buena historia de horror y drama, quiero que el lector use su imaginaci�n y se haga su propia opini�n."

Fantastic page Carlos! Authority is in the top 5 of Quitely's best work IMO.

Great page Carlos...this is one of me all time favorite story arcs and what got me into comics. Nice pick up!
