Description

In the fine tradition of the Savage Sword of Conan mag comes this great splash opening page: the masterful composition, the great Conan figures and close-up are everything I need!

Also, I just love the brushwork: the cloudy skies and the foliage on the big half-splash panel are just gorgeous and convey a rare moment of serenity in the otherwise turbulent life of Conan (though, judging by his frown and comments, he may not be that appreciative of the fact...).

Of course, hats off to Gary Kwapisz for his great pencilwork and to Ernie Chan whose inks are truly majestic!

It appears John Buscema approved heartily, since he even signed the page!

Very nice... always love a good Conan on horse page!!! I was just able to snag my first cover by none other than Kwapisz.
