DescriptionIn the spirit of Halloween and because this auction ended on Halloween night, I just had to get it. Evil Ernie from Chaos Comics was one of my favorite titles as a teen. I loved all the EE and Lady Death books, and was really excited when they announced the reboot of EE from Dynamite. The story wasn't awful, but still not what I was hoping for. Without the motivation of Lady Death, the story wasn't the same. Also, Ernie in the new series is almost good, if you can call it that. The original full blown and unapologetically "evil" Ernie from Chaos was perfect for a disenfranchised youth such as myself, but having the new Ernie only kill "bad" people instead of indiscriminently killing as the original, something was lost. But, the nostalgic love is still there for the character and I have always loved Stephen's work so it was perfect for me.Social/Sharing |

I thought about trying to get this one as well. I agree there is something special about the classic EE. Segovia does amazing work, Grats!

Wicked cover, brings back memories! With the Zombie apocalypse craze in full swing, how could we forget about the '90s darlings Evil Ernie and Lady Death!
