DescriptionThis is a cool piece Rupam did in honor of the new Marvel/Netflix TV series Jessica Jones, based on the Alias comic. He deliberately didn't give Kilgrave eyes so as to lend itself to the nightmare/dreamlike creepy quality he was going for, with Jessica feeling that he's out there somewhere, nearby. It's a creepy piece, but makes a great sort of Movie Poster for the show, and says a lot with a simple image. Kilgrave's creepy smile and her paranoia.I am a huge fan of the show, and love the Marvel Netflix series like this one and Daredevil, and I am really looking forward to the Luke Cage series coming up and all the others coming thereafter. So when I saw Rupam put this up on his CAF, I immediately bought it so it could ship with my Jayne painting from the Firefly card series. :) This piece is 8.5x12 and is painted with oils on thicker board. So far I really like what I have seen by Rupam, and I definitely recommend him. Also in the additional images is the print version he made where he added a more fog-like affect to the overall image and cropped out most of the creepy lack of eyes. I like both versions.
