Description

This painting of Gandalf being rescued by the Eagles is from an illustrated
edition of "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien. This edition was published in 1984 by Houghton Mifflin. It was also published as the cover of "The 1986 J.R.R. Tolkien Calendar" published by Ballantine Books.
