DescriptionHey Folks, meet my new friend Miho!...OK, I don't know if she (or I) even qualify for it, and if the idea of being friendly with her is even conceivable (does she relate to this... or any other feeling?). All I know is that it's safer to be on her side... I won't try to pretend that I would not have been interested in the finished page, but, not being the slightest snobbish about it, I DO love this prelim! I mean, how many Miller's Sin City prelims are there around? How many with Miho? How many on such iconic pages?... You get the idea... But the real value for me is the incredible pencil and marker work that gives the character such dynamics and fluidity. From the movement to the the facial expression (or lack of...except for the fierceness in her eyes), all the essentials are already in place. And it's big too: a board-size piece of pure undiluted Frank Miller!... Social/Sharing |
