DescriptionFred titled this, "Not A Goddess Anymore" most appropriately. I had fallen in love with Fred's work here on CAF. So I reached out...he took the commission...asked who I was thinking about, and my choice, Storm, particularly mohawk Storm is his favorite look! So my choice coincided perfectly with that!Needless to say, it is positively stunning! I have had it for a few months now, again, lax in my posting.... But this was Fred's first U.S. commission, so I am doubly proud! And needless to say, he was a dream to work with. I'll post another pic once it is stretched snd framed (as canvas must be). I want to send that to Fred as well. :) It is at the framer's now.... Oh...and to possbly add to your appreciation of it...this is 2ft wide by 3ft tall. GLORIOUS! Social/Sharing |

It was a pleasure working with you, for you, on my favorite character in my favorite look! :D Damon completely trusted me for this portrait, he simply submitted me two reference images, one of Paul Smith and other one of John Romita Jr, and gave carte blanche to me. I really appreciated this big sign of confidence, for my first US commission. I look forward to seeing the framed portrait, Damon! Thanks again, my friend!!!! :D

This is stunning! I started reading X-Men in the mid-1980s, so Storm with a mohawk is where my mind first goes whenever the character comes up. Incredible work here!
