DescriptionThank you Conny for letting me take care of this...forever more.... See what I did? Opposite of nevermore.... :)I've admired this in her gallery since it first popped up. Now I get to frame it and hang it in my home! So what can be said about this? The colors? The character? The detail? The eyes? The PURE WALKEN CAPTURE! This portrait IS Christopher Walken.... It is ALL GOLD. To see this in person is truly mind blowing. Conny just did such an amazing job. She said it is hands down one of her favorite portraits. That is how lucky I am. :) He started acting on stage at age 3 and hasn't looked back. If he's in a movie, I want to see it. He may be the ONLY reason to see a movie sometimes. Or he may elevate an already good or great movie. He can play it straight (Catch Me If You Can, A Late Quartet) or he can play it crazy (PICK ONE, there are many, from Mousehunt to Prophecy to True Romance....). He said, on Inside the Actor's Studio, that since he has been acting so long, he has a hard time playing regular human beings. All the better for us! And his delivery is supposedly derived from his removing punctuation from scripts when he gets them. Just such a great performer! Social/Sharing |

Great portrait of Walken, and with a facial expression that makes me think of one of my favorite movies, King of New York!

When Conny put this out I told her it was one of her very best achievements. You were smart and passionate to get this one into your gallery.Christopher Walken is up there with all the heavyweights and in many clever respects stands out alone. Bravo my friend.
