A friend of mine said to me about this cover. Because there is no Robin or they had to remove him for proprietary reason, it’s had less interest from collectors in the past.

Less interest? They must not have been legit collectors...or fans...this Perez piece is magnifico with his masterclass assemblage of heavy hitters. Congrats!

It really tied into issues 26 and 27 of the regular series and acted like another annual right after the Starfire saga. This put them on par with some of the most distinguished titles of the era to carry the DC logo far beyond the direct market. A treasured work by Perez and Giordano that spoke directly about drugs and the plight of teens (their core audience) without the comics code.
