Description

The first work of Sean Murphy's that I saw was a team-up piece he did featuring some of his favorite characters. The novelty of seeing a diverse group of characters in the same image was what garnered it attention, but the talent behind it was clear, and I sought him out on DeviantArt.

When he started his "Wolverine Alphabet" project it was immediately clear how perfect a fit the character was for his style, and as he made his way through the ABC's it was interesting to see his interpretations of Wolverine's various partners, which didn't stick to the traditional style guide looks.

My goal at first was to get my initials, but as I recall the other letters I needed were already claimed.

I was thrilled to have this one, though, as Elektra is probably my favorite female Marvel character, and as cool as it looked digitally, you really need to see Sean's line work in person.

I have an idea for a Commission I want him to do the next time he has an opening...

Absolutely love it! I've often wondered where the originals are for the Wolvie-Alphabet. Thanks so much for sharing this one.
