Description

Finally got me an Adam Hughes!! And with this one I christen the "Shadowcat & Lockheed" gallery.

I like that Adam put her in the classic Xavier's School training uniform. He said he didn't know which era I wanted but this is the best because Kitty Pryde represents the ideal of what the X-Men are supposed to be. And that it isn't as boob-centric as a lot of Adam's pieces.

I got to hang out with Adam a bit after the show and he's a funny guy with some great stories about the trials & tribulations of being hounded by fanboys. And a fellow cigar afficinado!! Thanks AH! and Allison!!

Exquisite! And as much as I love AH's raunchy humor, I'm glad to see a relatively "clean" depiction of Shadowcat and Lockheed! Thx for sharing~:)

I agree that it's very nice to see a female non boob-centric piece by Adam. He's such an incredible talent. I can only imagine that 98% of the requests he gets these days for convention sketches emphasize some kind of top heavy "sexy" female look. I wonder if he ever gets tired of that. :)

Starting a gallery with Adam is a very good omen indeed. Glad he was able to do you justice in this piece.
