DescriptionThis is it - THE STORY and scene that converted me into a Catwoman fan. Batman comes across a silhouetted woman, suspiciously accessing a wall safe. As she comes into view, he recognizes that skirt, those boots and mask. They belong to only one person - Catwoman! Thanks to Howard Chaykin, for creating this delightfully campy story, and for introducing me (and DC Comics) to Jordi's work. Thanks to Horacio Alvarez for the art. And thank you to Bill & the CAF team for this wonderful site. I highly recommend you contact Miguel Angel Dominguez or http://www.artcoholics.net/ for your next Jordi Bernet or Alfonso Azpiri art fix. "Blackout" was published in Gotham Knights 9 (Nov 2000) and Batman: Black & White Vol 2 (Sep 2002). You can read the complete story here. Or watch the story (begins at 3:13) below! Social/Sharing |

Wonderful page (not to mention how rare Bernet's Batman is)!

Catwoman and Jordi Bernet were made for each other and Chaykin's dialogue is right out of a 1940's romantic comedy.

Catwoman is the perfect character for Bernet to show off his loose but controlled inking. So good!

This is outstanding! I only wish we had more Catwoman stories from Bernet.
