Description

François Miville-Deschenes is a Canadian artist whose work I discovered by ogling other CAF members' galleries. Much of his most accomplished art has been created for the Belgian graphic albums, Reconquêtes 1 and 2. This illustration was conceived as a personal piece, and included in François' first signed and numbered portfolio.

Beautiful. Stunning really. My first exposure to this artist. A clear nod to European influences but original at the same time. Very impressive.
