Description

24" x 32" oil on wood, painted late 2009, bought from the artist. This is a view that I saw many many evenings in commuting in Los Angeles. There's a peculiar beauty to Los Angeles that a lot of people don't appreciate, but I love it.

Mr. Wray, of course, is known as the maker of the iconic gross-out 'Ren and Stimpy' super-closeup paintings. He's also a designer/painter on many other animated shows, has done some kick ass comics, and he's a super nice guy, to boot. As you can see from this, he is most of all a bad-ass artist of the highest order.

Great sense of light colors, atmosphere.. lines of volumes. Very intersting.
