When this went up for auction, I wondered which of the heavy hitters would take it down. This truly belongs in a museum. Then again, that's sort of what Albert's collection is to me, a museum. No other gallery on CAF has more pieces I wish I owned. Congratulations Albert. This is a grail among grails.

A piece of comics history. The broader counter-culture movement finally took root in the "funny books". Like GL's power battery, the mold was broken. Stunning. Can we bar this from this year's "best of" contest? :-)

Wow - classic artist, classic content, classic cover! Perhaps that Bicentennial Cap page with a bunch of silly foliage could come my way now...?

Always something special when someone says they have landed their grail, when they already have such a spectacular collection. Amazing, historic, breathtaking, etc, etc, etc. Thanks for sharing!

I sometimes used to write that when a CAF member acquired a grail, an angel would get his wings, but this one probably outfitted a whole squadron.

"grail piece" is one of those phrases that gets thrown around a lot & gets diminished in the process. This is a true grail piece. I'm glad this piece is still around & if I can't have it, I'm glad that you do. Congratulations!

One of the most iconic GL or Neal Adams covers. Congrats Albert, this piece has a great home. This is the Neal Adams style I like the most.
