Well, it seems appropriate to end the All Star Aprils with a splash�.page.

Roy had a fascination with Robotman and used him through the far too short All Star Squadron run and here he is front and center in this title page from issue # 38.

You may have noticed that I used the term Aprils in my opening sentence and with reason. This is the last year I�ll be doing a month devoted to All Star Squadron pages or commissions featuring members of the squadron or the Justice Battalion.

The reason is pretty simple; there aren�t that many pages still out there and the prices have become exorbitant. This year I was only able to post 4 published All Star Squadron pages and one of them was a prelim.

Recently someone put up a page from issue # 60 and asked $600 for it. Within two weeks the dealer got his ask (or a trade,) either way, good for him and good for me because those prices just give my collection greater value when it is time to start selling off my pages.

If a page from issue 60 goes for $600, how much do you think those pages from the first ten issues with Buckler/Ordway art will be worth?

I wish I could continue to keep buying All Star Squadron pages and share them with you every April, but all good things must pass and I have to say it was a delight to post most days a brand new published page.

We�ll try and continue to do JSAtober with commissions� time will tell.
