Description

This is the unpublished cover to the Amazing Spider-man #799. Frank drew this image originally, then the publisher asked him to flip the image. Instead of just doing it the easy way, Frank decided to redraw the entire cover, but the mirror image.

That's ridculous that they asked him to flip an image where she's bascially compactly posed in the center and posed pretty much symmetrical. It would cause a good artist to digital. The crosshatching by Cho is next level stuff.

That Frank is a clever guy. He got to sell essentially the same cover twice! And what a cover it is.

Editors are crazy sometimes. I went to the bother of getting a mirror to see if I prefer one way or the other. Both have the same impact.
