Description

Roman Ruins (2016) painting by Nathan Fowkes. My brother Stuart pointed out the artist settting up at Lightbox Expo and was excited to see originals available. Some pieces were designs for DreamWorks animated films. There were many western landscapes for Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) such as plains and mesas. Portraits, animals, and other subjects. Browsing the paintings, I loved this one and a Hawaiian seascape, but wavered for a time. I revisited several times. On my last look, I thought the seascape had sold, but found it again. So I purchased both pieces.
