Description

This is the complete original color guide, hand-colored by the great Marvel colorist Christie Scheele for the 1985 Double-Sized Annual of the Avengers. The story was drawn by John Byrne and Scheele directly colored Byrne's art on the photocopies of his work. These are the one and only pages used for publishing. A total of 39 pages! Check out the pictures to get an idea. The cover is only as a reference as it wasn't included when I first got this item. The story includes great pages with The Fantastic Four as special guests (Mister Fantastic, Torch, Invisible Woman and She-Hulk) and of course the Avengers: Captain America, Captain Marvel, Wasp, Hercules, Black Knight, Starfox + Firelord + Thor and a lot of Skrulls! (and even some panels with Thanos and Galactus). A little piece of Marvel and John Byrne history...
