Description

Saw this offered on ebay for maybe a day last year, then it was inexplicably yanked. Luckily it reappeared on Heritage Auctions where I was lucky to get it. Loved it because it had such a strong Murphy Anderson style & came relatively late in 1996. He left in the pencil marks. One of the greats still alive. Wish he'd bless us with some new artwork.

Wow. A great piece of art. This proves that he is a complete artist. I still think his inks over Curd Swan on Superman are still unrivalled

Agreed. I can't even look at Curt Swan art if Murphy didn't ink it. He gave it that urban flair no one else could. The real look of a city and its people. Unfortunately we lost him last year. RIP.
