DescriptionI’ve been a fan of German painter Michael Hutter for some time. His dark, surreal large-scale cityscapes and Bosch-like gardens are hauntingly beautiful. I had to pass up purchasing my favorite piece of his a few years back because my budget didn’t allow for it; and then it was regretfully sold to another collector. So I was pleased to find this wonderful smaller-scale piece, part of his Carcosa series, available on his Etsy site. I believe this image was included in Hutter’s “The Book of the Kranzadan”, published by Centipede Press in 2021, but not 100% sure.Oil on board 30cm x 60cm (11.81” x 23.62”) Social/Sharing |

1st time seeing his work. Great feel.
I don't think he's very well know here in the US, but he's definitely worth checking out.

I went straight to his site after seeing this, lol. His Old English art type work is cool, but not for me. Hope to see more of this loose grand scale impressionism.
