Description

Some things you just never forget. I was 12 years old when I picked up Defenders #17 which featured Luke Cage/Powerman and The Wrecking Crew. I was completely blown away by the amazing art of Sal Buscema and Dan Green. This battle has remained a highlight of my comic reading days and is now immortalized bu the incredible Steven Butler who has captured all the elements of this era in 11x17 classic style and flair!!

Certainly one of my favorite commissions of 2016 if not in total!

Badass! Rob, you're a collector after my own heart- commissioning scenes you always wanted to happen or to get another artist's take on a classic scene... And this is brilliant! SO nicely done!
