Ah, a well-travelled classic! Very surprising that none of the previous owners have ever really hung on to this. Gorgeous piece really!

Who would give this up unless the word "foreclosure" comes into the picture?

It is always a joy to see these incredible Byrne/Austin covers posted on the CAF website with this being the 2nd X-Men cover pencilled by Byrne.

Stunning. Action-less as it might be, this is probably my favourite all-time X-Men cover (ok, there is also 251....)

Byrne and Austin. The professional's team of professionals. As much as I love the loose, relaxed feel of Byrne's self-inked pieces, Austin's tight, controlled graphic approach is just perfect.
