Description

This is the "hip-hop" variant cover to All-New Wolverine #1 by Keron Grant. While it is part of Marvel's cover series that pays homage to hip-hop album cover art, I feel it works just as well outside that context. For me, this image of X-23 in a blood-drenched Wolverine costume was love at first sight. Now I just need to get this bad girl framed.

The original is a 24x24 acrylic painting.

Thanks for the comments, nice to hear that others dig it too. And check out the first issue of X-23's new solo series as the "All-New Wolverine". It was released yesterday and it's pretty damn good!

I saw Keron recently at Emerald City Comicon and wondered who had been wise enough to get the original art to this beautiful cover. I'm glad it was you Hans.
