DescriptionWhen I started reading comics again, King Thor was one of series that I was most excited about.A brutal, gritty look at the transformation of a wastrel godling into a wizened, world-weary King. I was thrilled to pick up this interior page with Thor finally eyeing a possible victory over a seemingly unconquerable foe. Social/Sharing |

One of my favorite "modern" runs as well. There was so much added to the mythos that we take for granted today. Aaron and the giant Croat at peak power!

NIce page! Esad is so good, and this was a seminal run. Congrats!

Whatever it takes! Gotta love Gorr's expression in panel 3 - don't think he was expecting that! Congrats, man!

You’ve bitten me
Eye wasn't there
I didn't care
The way you cared about me
I took your heart
So many times
'Til there was pencils you felt in lines
I didn't know
That I would need Uru
'Til I lost Thor love
Now you're Gorr I'm thinking of
Standing here with the god of pain
Every night callin' out for trade
Lookin' for the Gorr to your heart
Baby please let me see Esad
Let me know that your love's still eye
Let me back through the Gorr for your heart

Great page! Would Fisch qualify that as a kissing page?

I like the design of the villain and the graphic design with which he's drawn. Did Thor just bite his eye though? Yikes!!!

The dark pencil work looks so therapeutic, beautifully done work from Esad!
