DescriptionMerry Christmas everyone!This cover is absolutely spectacular. Zaff's first painted cover comes out swinging and bubbling a merry holiday. A landmark cover for a landmark series. The Swamp Thing is portrayed here literally in his element, doing what he was created to do - waiting, protecting. Gorgeous, deathly details throughout make this one of my favorite pieces of the year. And hold on to your hats - just wait until you see what Zaff is up to next! I'm only holding this piece until it is ready to go back home. Congrats to the whole team on the book, to Cam for helping me out with this one, and wishing everyone all the best health and happiness in the New Year. Thanks Bill and the entire CAF Team for making this space so incredibly fun and community based this past year. We really appreciate it. Superb cover! Thanks to you and Ruben posting so many outstanding pieces from this series, I've recently picked up all the floppies for the first 10 books and I'm loving it --- thank goodness for CAF!

Something completely different from Zaffino, as color is not something I ever expected to see, but it's so lovely! A wonderful color palette infused with some excellent texture. This has indeed been a great year to be involved and active in this hobby. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mikail!

Just when you started to hate Zaff for how other-worldly he is with pen and ink, he drops this on us. A spectacular image showcasing what a gift this dude is to comics (NOW IN TECHNICOLOR!) Congrats, my dude!

Zaffino has been crafting amazing work and I'm always excited to see his latest. It's impressive how effortlessly he seemed to jump from mastery of pen and ink to mastery of paint. Huge congrats!

SW in his element, whew! Like that he's lighter vs the darker background, and those subtle pops of blue, purple, etc work so well for the overall piece. And of course, LOTSA texture done via paints. Suh-weet. Congrats, and merry belated Christmas, man!

re-doing my comment so it makes sense. I love this cover, prob my favorite "Cover B" from the entire run!!! Congrats on this one man! But I do think it is from issue #4 not issue #7 like you have titled

Happy Holidays from the swamp. Wish you were here! Zaffino sets such awesome scenes. Between his covers and commissions, I think he could have been a cinematographer. His scenes pop! Great cover score. And totally agreed on this awesome community. Congrats!

Zaffino is always on point - this Swamp thing looks murky with just the right amount of dark and disgusting. Congrats ML - you are on a TEAR lately! Thanks for sharing this gem!

Just strolling through your gallery and this one stopped me in my tracks. Such a unique collection that I never know what to expect to find! You can just feel the atmosphere on this one.
