DescriptionWow.Now here is a protector worthy of The Green. An absolutely terrifying guardian who is not to be messed with. Vin likewise is not messing around here. Those eyes are straight nightmare fuel. There's secluded woods behind our new place, and I've had nature on my mind, so thought I'd share this brilliant piece. Thanks to all the friends that helped make it happen! Social/Sharing |

Wow is right! Love the eyes. And the work he did inside Swampy's mouth is just insane. Hope your family is enjoying the new digs.

Whenever I'm with Vin
Swamp Thing inside starts to burning
And art’s filled with desire
Could it be that pencil Quitely
Or is this the way love's supposed Ram V?
It's like a Green wave
It's burning in my art
I can't keep from burning
It's tearing weeds apart
Whenever he calls my name so Quitely Deighan
Right then, right there, I feel the burning veins
Has pencil pressure got a hold on Green?
Or is this the Wai love's supposed to be?

So good. Such detail in the face, I found myself zooming in to try and appreciate it all. You're right about those eyes, very intense and I love the color. That mouth hole is pretty spooky looking too. Without lips, it's hard to picture Swamp Thing snarling but the depth crated here kinda feels to me like he is. Congrats!

Kind of makes me think of a disembodied brain and nervous system, which is creepy in its own right.

Exquisite. And possibly the best to emerge from this batch of Quitely's commissions.

Fun fact... Many studies have shown that having blue eyes reduces your risk of getting cataracts (an aging-related disorder characterized by the clouding of the eye's lens). However, the benefits are inconsistent and appear to be different depending if you live in the swamps...
