Wow. Great pickup. And I love the guy who went all in on with the Kill the tattoo. You severely limit your job options with that one. Either a life of crime or a cruise ship entertainer. We know what's under all that hair Paul. We know.

You know they're going to just change the "K" to a "B" when they apply for jobs at CAF HQ and MegaCox. The contrast of the black smoke to the white background is so strong that it looks like half the sky is Batman's cape.

Phenomenal I Am Batman cover by the great Olivier Coipel! Love the upward-looking POV here as Batman drops down on a gang of thugs! Powerful use of ink wash and blacks here to create a dark and moody atmosphere only brightened by the strong contrast of the white space surrounding Batman himself. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
