Description

In this one simple sketch I feel Mr. Baker captured all the fun, humor and whimsy of Jack Cole's greatest creation, Plastic Man.

Plastic Man, who debuted over 70 years ago during what's considered the "Golden Age of Comic Books" in Police Comics #1 published by Quality Comics in 1941 and eventually acquired by DC Comics 15 years later, has pretty much been considered an A list character by comic book historians ever since his debut.

Lastly, via my Hollywood inside sources, I hear the DC/Warner Bros. is fast tracking a big budget Plastic Man movie with Jim Jarmusch, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Josh Trank being on the short list to direct. This could be big. REAL big!

Miss seeing Kyle's Plastic Man work....

This picture prompted me to crack open some of my Plastic Man books. Other than Cole, no one but Kyle Baker seemed to properly capture Plastic Man. This really is a wonderful piece

You may want to consider having Kyle do a color piece for you too. Bring on the red and yellow
