Stunning piece, but it's all fun and games mixing and matching Spidey's gals with Archie's gals until Mr. Weatherbee throws Betty off of a bridge.

Hahahaha! That's really funny. Though it seems like more of a Miss Grundy thing to do. Cuz she has secretly wanted Archie's bod for years. Eww.

Everyone should be so lucky to have this problem of Peter Parker.

Love DeCarlo's treatment of the trio -- makes me wonder how he would've fared in an alternate universe as a Marvel artist! Better than many, I'd think... peak DeCarlo was formidable.

DeCarlo for the win! His imagery always was simple and yet with a signature no one else could replicate. Congrats in this stellar pinup!

Okay, teen Spidey had to master the toughest fights against the hardest villains already. But teen PETE is in REAL deep trouble here... Will he master this tremendous task? Most probably, brutal force will not help here. Sheer luck? Forget it, Peter Parker is the living opposite of it. So where's that darn Loki, when once you could need him?!
Beautiful, darn nice piece, bringing back the good old days, congrats!

Looks like Peter's spidey senses are tingling in overdrive. Thank goodness we can't see what's going on behind that chair. Gotta keep this Archie style pinup PG for the kids!

I don't think I've ever seen this before, but how unbelievably cool is it to get a piece featuring Spidey with his own "Betty and Veronica" by the (arguably) best known Archie artist of all time? VERY unbelievably cool!

Crisp inks and classic DeCarlo imagery! Fun piece with a '60s vibe.
(Peter might need 2 rainjackets though ;)

Poor Peter, he's got it rough. Love this idea and having DeCarlo draw it is just perfect. Congrats Marcus - thanks for sharing!

I love how Dan pushed both of MJ's boobs in and left Gwen just showing one. As if we didn't know MJ was boobalicious! Lovely

Simplly delightful! I love the retro pinup girl stylings on both ladies and Peter seems to realize just what a lucky boy he is. Excellent piece!

Nice amalgam of some of the most popular ladies in comics! You definitely can see elements of both. Congrats!

Wow, Sinnott inks really makes this one stand out from Dan's typical Archie work.

My dad loved shopping at Brooks Bros in Jersey. Brings back memories. Peter is loving every minute of this! A beauty of a pin-up.

OK, Marcus, this is just too cool! I can't imagine a better artist to draw the Pete/ Gwen/ MJ triangle than ultimate good girl artist Dan DeCarlo! And, echoing other's sentiments, i would have LOVED to see Dan do the trio in a lighthearted, Archie-type book as a companion to Amazing Spider-Man! You could even have Marvel's resident good girl artist at that time, John Romita, Sr. do a story or two in a book like that! Oh, what could have been!! Congrats on such a great and unique piece!!

This is very cool, Marcus. An interesting pairing of DeCarlo and Joe Sinnott. I have trouble seeing DeCarlo in it. It might be due to the fact that Marvel characters are not meant to be drawn in the more cartoony Archie style or it might be Sinnott's inking. Sinnott tended to give everything he inked, a very distinctive look. A very unique piece though. Congrats on getting it.

Is Jughead played by the Forbush Man? Ha, this is fantastic! Archie Spidey is a concept I'd never even considered, but what a great idea. Peter is definitely half Riverdale until he puts on the suit. And Decarlo's more cartoony style works well here. Great find. Congrats!

You know, if we're talking alternate universes here, just imagine the "mad Doctor Octopus" DID come a-calling, and everyone realized he could take Gwen to the Prom while Pete took MJ (or vice versa); rampage (and double-date crisis) averted! Phew! And everyone would get along so well and have such a great time that Otto would stop someone from spiking the punch and Mr. Weatherbee would give the recently opened position of science teacher to "Dr. O" right on the spot. Later on, during parent teacher conferences, Dr. O would meet Peter's Aunt...
What a beautiful, crazy awesome piece of amalgamated, non-existant comics history, Marcus. From a Kirby 'What If' to a DeCarlo one! Awesome piece - thanks for sharing it with us!

It simply doesn't get any better than this with beautiful art and fun with comic-girls. Simple but striking and Joe's superb inks make DeCarlo's delicious pencilwork shine even more on this true winner !

I think this is a really cool piece. To see Dan DeCarlo step into the Marvel Universe like this is a treat. But what I want to see is Aunt May's reaction video to "Two Girls, One Coat."

Absolute killer piece. Talk about hitting the DeCarlo bullseye. The oversized coat is great gag to tie these two worlds together.
