“The next morning I woke up at oh eight oh oh hours, my brothers, and as I still felt shagged and fagged and fashed and bashed and my glazzies were stuck together real horrorshow with sleepglue, I thought I would not go to OAX.”

What a magnificent tribute to the inaugural event, Marcus.
While you may not be able to attend, your presence will surely be felt.

"A Comment a Day" Or more! :)
Rad seeing this famous cover get the Manix treatment - them colors, man, them colors.
We'll miss you at OAX, but we shall meet again! Or for the first time. at some point. The other line just sounded better. I guess that's why it's used so often! Congrats on a sweet piece!

Brilliant choice of commission, Marcus, to spotlight the upcoming OA goodness (and you lyrics just -kill- me, as usual... "When you wish upon Sadar"...? REALLY?!? rotfl! :) ). Is there an artist more exciting than Manix working today? One that you'd click over to a new posting of their work with anything less than bated breath? I sincerely doubt it! I have to miss OAX, alas, but hope that everyone has a FANTASTIC time at this amazing event! Sow your wild OAX, everyone!

Oh, this was yours??! I saw it and wanted to bow down before it -- I love the original cover & love this one just as much in its own kooky way.

OAX was all I could have wished for, and the swag was flowing through the hall like a river of stickers. Thanks for all of your contributions to the show. You were missed!

Holeeey crap this just blows me away! Man, this is awesome! Congrats Marcus. Why do I keep looking at commission art when I am trying to move more toward published? Stuff like this really makes it hard to linit commissions!

A one-of-a-kind work of art with each date significant in its own Wai. A fitting commemoration of a historic event. You were missed, Marcus, but there in spirit and art.

I've pulled out my trusty watergram wheel and checked the total saturation index chart and found that you, my dear particle in the sand we call Earth, have not only improved the quality of the CAF galleries...but also the entire way I move through life. So, with all the joy I found with this commission, I leave you with this sigular comment,...i love it. Take all the buttons my friend...all them!

Wow! Bonkers commission by Manix Abrera! What a wacky parody of Detective Comics 71 from the man who's clearly artist of the year! Manix certainly knows how to transmogrify any character into a Manix character. Here, his Manix-Batman and Manix-Robin appear totally outmaneuvered by Manix-Joker! It's amazing how amusing Manix is able to make any super-hero! You got a good one here! Congrats!

Only Marcus could get a Manix OAX themed piece without going to OAX. This is awesome and shows the range and creativity of the artist and the owner. Congrats.

Awesome piece! Manix's style really lends itself to the potential absurdity of Joker stories.
