Manix’s version is just as breathtaking with the paints and ink to match the strong feelings of nostalgia tied to the seminal Frank Miller Daredevil storyline. With the Mazz Batman Year One artist edition coming out this week, seems like it is the right time to post this piece as…The Kickstarter for the Zero Ghost comic is now live! There’s a Manix exclusive variant for it! What is Zero Ghost you may ask? It’s the new venture from 247comics from our original art collecting pal Carl Choi and he brings his XXX Amateur experience to publishing comics! A fave line that immediately takes me back to that background Kingpin image and I LOVE Manix's take here! Congrats, man, and looks like y'all had a blast at SDCC! I'll get there again soon!

Superb homage! Perfect cover for Manix to reimagine. Love Gumby style DD hopscotching between bullets under the gaze of Kingpin, saucere-yed and sans schnoz

Wow! Hell's Kitchen just got a little hotter! Reticles front and center on our hero as the real target looms over the city. The composition, the execution, the Jiggy factor. Move over RDJ, the real star of SDCC24 is none other than Marcus Wai.

This is a fantastic rendition of the classic Mazzucchelli cover. Wow! Even just a few years ago, I'd never have imagined I'd ever enjoy a completely cartoony style as much as I now enjoy Abrera's. I can't see enough of it. Every time I see another one, I want to see more!

An absolute -classic- (and the original Mazzuchelli's not bad, either). The Kingpin's massive eye had me snorting out loud; the colors, mood, and passion on display here reach the lofty heights of the original! Such a great homage for Manix to tackle! Thanks for sharing this, Marcus!
