Description

This 11" x 17" original licensing illustration was penciled by Steve Lavigne and inked by Ryan Brown for a Mirage Studios style guide circa 1988.

The iconic image of the toony Turtle team has been used by dozens of companies over the years (including Thermos, Colorforms, and Mello Smello) for such licensed consumer products as toys, lunch boxes, POGs, stickers, bed sheets, curtains, towels, shirts, pajamas, hats, wrist cuffs, sketchbooks, and much more.

The artwork was later made into a limited print in 2005 to help raise relief funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
