DescriptionThis jam recreation is of Mondo’s Black Mirror poster. This was my first jam attempt and I wanted to get the original creators of one of my favorite Batman stories involved. I thought that the easiest approach would be to try to recreate Mondo’s Black Mirror poster since I loved how the poster looked and both artists collaborated on it. I started this back in 2015 at Mondocon with Francavilla. Jock took it home from there to work on it and I got it back at Mondocon 2016. I was able to get Scott Snyder to quote and sign it at ECCC 2017. I returned to Mondocon just recently to ask Francavilla to add title lettering for the finishing touches. I’m thrilled with the outcome and the journey of completing this jam will always be remembered as one of my best experiences in this hobby. A huge thanks to Jock, Francavilla, and Snyder for creating a great Batman story and also for creating this personal grail piece that I will cherish. Fun project! And really cool how each element is integrated into a cohesive whole, rather than a bunch of disparate pieces jammed together. Congrats!

Bruce, I don't understand how this piece isn't getting more love, though honestly I kind of glanced at it as just another cover piece.
Then I finally sat down and read Black Mirror, with the sudden urge to get something from Francesco. And now here you have exactly that. The most PERFECT jam piece honoring an amazing Batman story.
Simply amazing.

What a fantastic idea, what a great tribute to an awesome book! And Scott Snyder´s contribution puts the cherry on the cake.
