DescriptionIn 1990 I only collected comics, I still had no idea how an original page was made, I discovered it that year in my first Lucca comics, even the building which today seems very small was very large in my eyes, walking around the stands I fell look up at the top right of the entrance, there was a chubby man in a small stand made up of 4 tables and a panel behind him, it wasn't clear what he saw, it looked like a drying rack! I got closer and from there my savings turned into Marvel & DC cardboard. The first page I bought was one of Lobo from the first mini series! I paid $25 for an ordinary page where no character appeared but it was from Bisley from his most famous miniseries of those years, at that moment he was a rising star who was changing all the classic canons both in ink drawing and in colour. Well when I found this piece in my hands I felt a shiver, it hadn't happened to me for at least 25 years to feel such a strong emotion for a originale comic art!Social/Sharing |

Bisley at the top of his game! This was a key series that defined that era.

Jaw-droppingly cool splash page from Lobo #3 by Simon Bisley! This is the run that made Bisley's rep! Look at how cool Lobo looks even in this super early issue. He was the Main Man right from the start. Splash pages from early issues like this one are really rare, so you've got something killer here. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
