DescriptionSince this Amazing Spiderman page left Mike Burkey's collection and since it arrived to Albert Moy, it haunted my days and my nights.I put a few months before deciding on me to dash into the adventure, knowing that it was going to cost me of enormous sacrifices! But as admirer of John Romita Sr, I could not allow to pass it. Now, I am in peace with myself. My grail page is finally at home ! Social/Sharing |

Well done Carlos, I could not think of anybody on here more deserving to own a Romita / Spidey page than you my friend !!!!
Romita's version of Otto Octavius is, in my opinion, better than Ditko's, and that is no mean feet. Every panel on this page is gold, and what a great issue of Spidey this is from! It would have cost a bundle, but QUALITY artwork from the past craps on anything being produced today! BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if I could ever make the sacrifices it would take to get a page such as this. I suppose I'm (mostly) at peace with that fact, but, at the same time, I admire an art collector who burns with a passion for a particular piece and then sets out on a course of action to attain it. Congratulations, for I think there is much to praise about this page.

Quand j'ai vu cette page "on hold" j'ai pensé à toi, hahaha je ne m'étais pas trompé. J'ai presque craqué pour l'acheter aussi.^^ Bonne acquisition, j'aurai la mienne un jour aussi. Celle là est très belle.

Whatever you paid it was well worth it. We all initially overpay for the best art and later we see it was a bargain. Definitely a grail..Congrats!!

Great page from a Golden Age at Marvel. Even thought Ditko came first. Ditko is one of the greats in his own right in comic history. John is the Spider-Man artist most fans identify as pure Spidey & his gang. A era likely never to be repeated again. In the pure greatness of the Marvel Age!

Gotta say; if there were just one Romita Sr. "Amazing Spider-Man" page to score, which features the web-slinger, then you can't get much better than this. That, and one of Spidey's greatest villians to boot. "WOW"!
