Description

Emerald City Comic Con was my first comic-centric convention. I had met the team then and showed them the five squares on the jam that were completed. Jamie doesn�t do commissions/sketches at shows, as I had found out through his tumblr, so you can imagine I was very surprised when he told me on twitter the next con we were both attending he would make an exception and to save the Laura piece for him. We were reunited at New York Comic Con this year and Jamie kept his word. Matt took it home with the cool greys, and by the end of the con Persephone was in my possession. The team was extremely busy doing panels/signing/press so I was unable to thank the artists personally, but it really means the world that they contributed to this. I hope the next time I see them in person I�ll have the words to describe how much I adore their square and how it brings a sense of completion to this piece, even though as I write this there are 6 squares to go!

Oh, my God, I am so exceptionally jealous! This is gorgeous; you're so lucky! Jamie is a lovely guy, and so glad he did this for you. This may be the only sketch he ever does for a WicDiv fan, so congratulations!!
