I love Mr. Gould's work! Specially his Moorcock-related eternal champion pieces! Wasn't a colored version of this also used as a cover to one of Moorcock's Elric Saga compilations? I believe the color version is a mirror image of this one so that the "Magician" (ie, Elric) appears on the front and the tree of swords on the back. Fantastic piece, and I'm very glad you posted it! The detail in it is amazing. Wish I could see an even higher res. scan of it! :) Thanks for sharing!
