DescriptionI probably paid way too much for this, but I was jealous when this cover was posted earlier this year. When I saw that it was available I knew that I had to try and get it. I love the inserts with Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, and the tag line is awesome! This issue has always had a special place in my heart- Issue 2 was one of the few issues that I missed picking up during the original run and I had to borrow a friend's copy to read the whole White Martian storyline. To this day, I have yet to buy a copy of the original issue and remains the only hole in my collection of the Morrison/Porter JLA run, so owning the original cover to the issue is my ironic way of filling the hole.I am so excited to finally add a Porter cover to my collection! Fantastic cover ! Porter and Dell did great justice to Morrison's "crazy" ideas...

So this is where it went. Congrats. I'm honestly not sure there is such a thing as "too much" when you really want something. I remember I thought I paid too much for the #1 cover and now... I look back and think it was a bargain. Congrats again.

Every now and then I think that I should have haggled a bit on the price, but I was worried that I would miss out on the cover considering how the Batman JLA splash that was listed at the same time sold so I pulled the trigger on it and don't really regret it! Truth be told, considering how scarce Porter JLA covers are becoming, I probably didn't pay enough!
