Description

Bought this piece from Spencer at The Artist's Choice during Christmas 2016 as a treat for myself. I had been wanting to buy it for years and waited as other great piece were sold and finally decided to bite the bullet.

I love the composition- of all of my Porter pages, I seem to always get great Superman pieces and this is no exception. As much as I loved the Electric Blue Superman era, this was a great piece to celebrate Superman going back to the basics.

Quick question for anyone who might know- on my other Porter JLA covers, each came with an acetate overlay with the JLA shield logo, the DC comics logo, issue number, etc. Spencer said that there was no overlay when he got it from the artist, and I was wondering if it went missing somewhere...
