Description

Jumping from the pages of Marvel Graphic Novel 4, the New Mutants get their own title! Although not meant to be the next X-men, the muties still gotta train for whatever comes their way. Cannonball can’t aim, Mirage is pulling nightmares all willy nilly, Sunspot’s ego is outta check, Karma’s gotta learn to work in a team, and Wolfsbane’s just a babe in the woods. Will they survive everything the Professor and the Danger Room can throw at them?

Another banger from McKone. Love that guy. I always thought the background from the original should have formed an X, so here we are.

Well thought out reimagined commission idea! Symbolic of New Mutants while keeping in spirit of the original when they first welcomed Kitty Pryde to the X-Men!

Fantastic homage piece and beautiful art by McKone! Each character highlighted beautifully in some great hero poses and what makes them special.

Great homage to Uncanny X-Men 139... and Kitty Pryde !! The original X-Men uniforms worn by the NM connect us with Kitty also wearing the same uniform on that cover. And those colors pop against the muted grays of the Danger Room. McKone really knows his stuff.
