DescriptionFirst off let me say once again what a pleasure Eric is to work with. Complete professional from start to finish and a really nice guy on top of that! My previous commission was a pencil piece,but Eric really is a painter by trade, so I knew this next one had to be painted. I had Doctor Strange in mind from the start and Eric seemed pretty thrilled about the idea too.The final image posted here is just pure magic,from Doctor Strange himself, to the amazing image of Dormammu and the transforming Strange heads! I included a few additional images to show the processes( Eric flooded me with updates as he went along). The layout and details were carefully thought out by Eric before he began. From Eric himself: : "Just a couple of inside tidbits. The general layout is to mirror a pentagram star with the head of Dormammu as the goat head. The symbols in the four corners is to resemble the cult circles drawn on floors. In case you are superstitious, I took known symbols and then altered them to mean nothing. The nine dots above each head signifies the nine realms of Norse Mythology". This is without doubt THE commission of the year for me. Thanks again to my buddy Eric for this Supreme Sorcerer!! This is a beast, in more ways than one. I've been friends with Eric for a few years now. He's done some beautiful pieces. This might be one of his best, if not THE best. What more can be said, the art truly speaks for itself. Gorgeous!

He said this was a direction changer from his previous work. Being friends with Eric too is the plus factor when working with him!

Probably Eric's most impressively bold commission to date. This piece is not only majestically arcane in its character-centric iconography, but the quality and consistency of the execution are nothing short of genius. A perfect commission, Rob. I'm insanely jealous.

Knowing him as well as I do now, I know he wouldn't do it,but the thought has to be there sometimes! LOL! Thanks Matt!

This is awesome! I can't imagine a finer Doctor Strange commission than this. I really love the spooky cool occult vibe.
Convinced me to get my own commission by Eric. Eagerly anticipating its completion.
