Description

I first saw this in the Ghita of Alizarr (Catalan Communications) in 1986 which reprinted her adventures first published in 1984/1994 (warren Publications). The art was part of "Frank Thorne The Retrospective: Through the Eyes of a Wizard" exhibit at Illustration House last month.
I attended he opening of the exhibit,also had Frank Thorne, Wendy Pini (used to dress as Red Sonja at cons in the 70s) along with a number of collectors. Frank was really nice to talk with and I asked him about the artwork. The model sheet was one of the first drawings he ever did of Ghita. She sprang fully formed from his dirty little mind.
