DescriptionFrom 'Siege' issue.Aftermath page of Dani vs Demon Bear with a nice Starjammers cameo. The seller said their late dad picked this up in the mid/late 80’s on their honeymoon in NY. Glad he got so many years of enjoyment out of the page. Social/Sharing |

This is a huge one, congrats on getting a page from the Saga! Beautiful Sienkiewicz work in his prime era. Love that top panel, seeing his talents on these characters and the bottom right on Wolfsbane.

I'm sure his wife must've been really thrilled to see her brand new husband taking the time out of their honeymoon to go into a comic shop or convention and spend money on comic art. What a guy! 😅
Really gorgeous work from the man who did what his own influence had already done a quarter of a century earlier: revolutionized the art of comic book illustration!

The daughter said they did a tour of Marvel HQ while there, so it sounds like the wife knew what she signed up for. 😂

This is Sienkiewicz's pioneering work using his unconventional style in this famed storyline. Somehow, he smashed out some walls in the house style and made himself a space that was singular to his vision!

Great storytelling, and love the scratchy inked line work. So uniquely stylized, especially for the time! Congrats!
